Ping Pong Derby Roll
A light rain and drizzle on October 17th had little effect on St. Raphael School setting a Guinness Book of World Record, albeit “unofficial”, as 5,000 ping pong balls were released from a high atop Eilings Park and propelled down the narrow course into a funnel where the first 20 balls came up winners for the lucky ticket holders.
1st Place $1,500
2nd Place - $500
3rd Place, Flat Screen T.V.
The event proceeds, which netted approximately $12,000 and included donations from businesses outside the school community, went into a separate school fund to support capital, endowment, and the scholarship needs of the school.
A big thank you to the school’s Development Committee who worked countless hours to ensure that the event went off as a big success.

…and thank you our event sponsors.

St. Raphael School was founded when God answered a Daughter of Charity’s prayer. To this day, our mission is consistent with that of our founding Sisters: to educate all children in preschool through eighth grade in mind, body and spirit by imparting the values of Jesus through a rigorous curriculum, devoted faculty and an actively involved parent community.
