As we reflect on the 22nd anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11, we are reminded of the profound impact that day had on our world. It's a moment to honor the heroes who selflessly sacrificed their lives and to express our gratitude to the local fire, police, medical workers, and the brave men and women of our military who displayed extraordinary courage in rescuing countless individuals. Let us always remember them in our prayers and be grateful for their unwavering commitment to our safety. Together, we say: "God Bless America!" Our school community is coming together to kick off our Annual Fund campaign. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support the extra programs that make St. Raphael School so special. We kindly ask you to prayerfully consider making a donation during our kick-off. In your child's Tuesday folder, you'll find a prize sheet as a token of our appreciation. With your support, we can achieve this milestone together! Our first school Mass is scheduled for Thursday, September 29th, at 10:45 am. This will be a special occasion as we gather for Mass with our new Pastor, Father Rolly. It's an opportunity to come together as a school community, mark the start of another fantastic school year, and offer a special blessing to our Student Council. Please mark your calendars and join us as we celebrate this important event. Next Monday, we're excited to start our first "Jeans for Jesus'' day for this academic year. Students may wear jeans with any St. Raphael School shirt if they bring in a $1 donation for a local charity. It's a wonderful way to dress down a little while showing our support for our brothers and sisters in need. Let's embrace the spirit of giving and make a positive impact on our community. Thank you for being an essential part of our St. Raphael School community. Your support and involvement in these initiatives make a significant difference in the lives of our students and the community as a whole. Wishing you a blessed and fulfilling week ahead! In Mary’s Love, Ms. Michelle Limb, Principal Please pray this prayer with your child/ren this week as we prepare for the Feast Day of St. Raphael:
St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease and guide our steps when doubtful of our ways. Amen.
