Dear St. Raphael School Families and Friends,
This spring, our class of 2021 is choosing the next place they will go to further their education. This year acceptances for our former scholars include St. Mary's University, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona, Santa Clara University, University of San Diego, Oregon State University, Chapman University, Cal Lutheran University, UCSB, St. John's University, University of California, Berkeley, Southern Methodist University, and University of Hawaii. Knowing that St. Raphael School had a direct impact on the students’ educational foundation fills me with pride.
This Friday, we will have our annual iRaphael Chalk Festival. Students will have the wonderful opportunity to create a masterpiece on the quad throughout the day. Due to the pandemic, we will stagger the times outside. Please send your child to school with a beach towel, a hat and sunscreen. Students may wear their PE uniforms on this day as they will be working in the asphalt with chalk and will most likely get a little dirty!
The first day of school for the 2021-2022 school year will be Wednesday, August 25. It’s hard to believe that we only have six weeks left in the school year. Let’s finish healthy and strong!
May 17: Jeans for Jesus
May 31: No School for Memorial Day
June 4: Last Day of School. Noon Dismissal
August 25: First Day of School for 2021-2022
In Mary’s Love,
Ms. Michelle Limb, Principal
Hail Holy Queen:
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he has remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children forever.
